Two Ergonomic Sit-Stand Workstations
As a security service provider for both public and private clients, including Rennes Métropole, Citédia Sécurité turned to Elemen Craie Design for its Central Monitoring Station located in Cesson-Sévigné (35).
Operational 24/7, Citédia Sécurité conducts over 3,600 interventions annually across Rennes and its surrounding area, with alarm responses carried out in under 30 minutes.
To enhance the working environment for its SCT operators, Citédia Sécurité has equipped its control room with two ergonomic sit-stand I-Kube® concave workstations, each 2200 mm wide. Designed to accommodate four 24-inch monitors, these workstations allow operators to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day, helping to prevent the onset of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which are common in such roles. The electric adjustments also enable operators to tailor the workstation to their individual body shape.
The IT equipment is housed in a perforated, naturally ventilated cabinet, designed for quick maintenance access without disturbing the operators.
Finally, cable management is another key priority in the design of our ergonomic I-Kube® operator workstations, ensuring neat organisation for both permanent IT equipment and temporary setups.
