With nearly 105,000 km of lines, the Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (Electricity Transmission Network) is the largest in Europe. 46.2% of the very high voltage lines carry electricity over long distances, reaching 50 cross-border connections with neighboring countries. In their new facilities north of Nantes, RTE has chosen to equip its telecommunication network administration supervision room with the I-Kube®.
Workstation Specifics
We addressed our client’s specific needs by offering this customized configuration: 13 ergonomic workstations equipped with 6 to 8 screens each. The screens and work surfaces are electrically adjustable in height independently. Housing for docking stations has been provided, along with storage furniture. Illuminated columns have been installed. We also supplied acoustic separation panels and ergonomic 24/7/365 chairs.
